CNC Machining Nottingham

Precision CNC Machine Operator based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire

Proline Components has been manufacturing precision CNC parts, using the latest technology and advanced cutting tools since 2003.  Our engineering expertise combined with this state of the art CNC Machinery has enabled us to manufacture complex parts at competitive prices.

In 2023 Proline Components invested in a Matsuura CNC Horizontal Machining Centre.  This has significantly increased our milling capacity and has also given us the ability to drill and mill on angles as the Matsuura has a full 4th axis.

In 2024 we invested in gear cutting technology for our DMG Mori CNC. This has enabled us to produce custom gears without the need of a dedicated gear hobbing machine.  We machined a Spur Gear for a customer with weight lighting pockets that were perfectly balanced, eliminating the vibration from the current design.  In addition to these technology`s we have invested in broaching which enables us to produce internal shapes like hexagon and squares at high speeds.

Proline will be Investing in the Latest Technology Full 5 Axis CNC Machine in 2025

High Speed Machining Technology

Using Vortex Milling CAM software along with the latest cutting tools and techniques.

State of the Art Multi-Axis CNC Machines

Enabling complex components to be completed in a single operation.

Experienced in All Aspects of Machining

Including difficult to machine materials e.g. Duplex, Titanium and Inconel.

From One Offs to Large Batch Production

We can machine parts very quickly in large batches using lights out technology.

Latest CNC and Cutting Tool Technology

We keep up to date with all the latest CNC technology by regularly visiting manufacturing exhibitions, seminars and webinars.

CNC Machining

CNC Milling, CNC Milling with 4th-Axis, CNC Turning with Live Tooling, Y-Axis and Sub Spindle.

Precision Engineering

Proline Components has the ability to work to fine tolerances, even on large batch production of complex precision parts, using high tech bar feeds and the latest world class DMG Mori machine tool.

Reverse Engineering

We have on many occasions reverse engineered parts due to them being obsolete. This includes parts for vintage cars e.g. connecting rods and crankshafts.
